Cabbages & Roses was created in 2000 by Christina Strutt and Brigitte Buchanan with a single fabric called Bees. Their simple fashion designs were soon featured in Vogue on Lizzie Jagger and in the Telegraph Magazine, Elle Decoration, Harpers and Queen & The Times, and most recently on Kate Middleton in the 100th birthday edition of Vogue.
The business has grown year on year since, with exciting developments along the way. A global collaboration with Japanese retail giant Uniqlo was a great success for 2013, followed by a licensing partnership with John Lewis in 2014.
Further plans for extended licensed collections with John Lewis are in motion for 2016 with additional categories including; home, fashion accessories and health and beauty products launching into retail in 2017.
